 Good Lightweight Inexpensive PackDec 23, 2010

This appears to be a nice little lightweight pack for use during a day hike or as an emergency "bug out" bag. I like the appearance and material. Seems well made. Too bad it's not water proof, but I knew that when I ordered it from Amazon and is the only reason I do not give it 5 stars. Otherwise, I think it is a good small pack for the price. I filled mine with general emergency/survival gear to keep in the closet and just toss in the back of the SUV. Easily holds a first aid kit, small flashlight, Gerber Prodigy Survival Knife, waterproof matches, light sticks, paracord, etc. Can stick a couple of water bottles (one on each side) in it as well. Still has room for other gear or rations for a couple of days.

Bought this item for my 5 year old son. He loves it he can fit all his toys and things in it. Seems to be put together pretty good

My grandson loves this backpack as do his buddies who want it for their birthdays. It is durable and can handle the bigger school textbooks. Then it converts to playtime "army" backpack for tree-climbing.

this is a great backpack for day hikes and biking. Its very small though and dont expect to fit school supplys in it
