I was honestly scared about getting this bag after some of the reviews...but I chose it because it sounded like what I wanted. I have had my bag for awhile now and can not believe how anyone wouldn't adore this bag. First of all, the color is beautiful. The classic olive, army green was portrayed stunningly with this bag. I have used it every day carrying TONS of books and my laptop. It has not put any weight or dug into my shoulder. It is definitely not too big, it is a normal messenger bag size. It doesn't have very many inside pockets which is fine for me because I don't like inside pockets. The water bottle holder is perfect. I have had a lot of messenger bags and this is the first one I have ever liked! Don't listen to any of the other reviews this product is the one you want!!!!!! Trust me!!!!! This might be the greatest product I have gotten from Amazon, and I have gotten a lot! Thanks for reading!

With this bag, i can carry one medium size text book, my 14' laptop and a notebook. It all fits perfectly. It even has a little zipper bag inside to put all your pens, pencils, keys, etc. I dont know what material it is made from but i can tell you it looks like its going to last a lot of time. I recommend this bag for those who need to carry a few things at a time. Remember also that if you overload the bag, your shoulder will start to hurt a big due to all the weight, so you must also take that into consideration.

Verrrrry heavy canvas. It seems well made. It did not work out for what I had intended which was for my youngest daughter to carry some things to her college classes. A book or two and a laptop etc. It was way too big for her. I was surprised how big it was when it came even though I had measuered with a ruler before ordering. (I think the measurements are correct. It just looks bigger, to me, in person). But, my other daughter wanted it as her carry on when she flies instead of her backpack. She just took it on a flight and I haven't heard yet how it worked out.
I ordered the khaki and thought it would look like the picture but it looked quite green to me. Maybe that's the way the khaki looks and the green one looks greener.
It also doesn't look like the photo. The photo makes them look nicer. It's floppy and shapeless. The bags in the photo must have been stuffed in such a way to give them their shape.

Enough said, this backpack gets all the ladies and guys involved. It may or may not make your e-peen points significantly higher. The other guys and gals can go suck it, their JanSport combo'd with their Vans cannot compare to your Sexy Satchel of Super Awesomeness. They call you a hipster only because deep down inside, they're jealous, they want to be as awesome as you are.. but they can't. They're too scared because they think its a "purse", well... this "purse" definitely knows how to kick ass in style. This satchel is what Indiana Jones would venture deep into the Amazon for. Not to mention its durability, this thing can probably add +69 armor to your equipment, this canvas is probably weaved by the magical Gods of.. uh oh.. someone just challenged me to a Xaolin Showdown for this thing. brb.

this product tells you it is a heavy duty messenger bag so that should not be a problem It is exactly what it states it is. works perfectly for my sons school needs. built to last. thanks.
