Rothco claims this bag is used by military and law enforcement, although I'm pretty sure that this particular model is not. Maybe this style/design of bag is used, but I don't think it is quite heavy-duty enough for military use. However, this bag is perfect for cilvilians! It is a very high capacity bag that is fairly durable and is perfect for carrying large amounts of clothing from place to place. I used this bag to carry all (and I mean all) of my clothes to college, and as soon as I was unpacked...the bag laid flat and easily fit under my bed taking up almost no room. My only quirks about this bag is I'm not sure it can handle really heavy loads (which is fine if you use it for clothes) and it doesn't have a shoulder strap or device for back carry.

Great bag, we've used it on every trip we've been on, heavy duty, very strong. Wish I could find on bigger in the same style though. But we've never been disappointed with the bag yet. It's been great to travel with, camping, road trips, etc.

Sure, this probably isn't going to be able to handle heavy loads by design. I use this as a simple away bag for my family to hold a medical kit, some other basics and change of clothes for the three of us. Definitely does the job for a cheap bag for the purpose I bought it for.

I was looking for something like a duffle bag so i wasnt looking for a big bag when i read the dimensions on this i thought it wouldnt be too bad. i guess i measured wrong this bag is huge. but my gf and i use this bag almost every other weekend for a weekend trip and to works perfectly. very strudy. its even machine washable, (kinda).
