its OK at bestMay 29, 2011
By tmarks this backpack is the size that i was expecting it to be so i surprised by ts small stature. but with all the pockets and internal dividers, you can store an incredible amount. however, it is NOT WELL BUILT. as i started packing my materials in it some of the internal seems ripped (minutes after receiving the pack). for light duty use it will work, but i WOULD NOT suggest it to anyone that plans to use this pack as a medium or heavy use pack. i wouldn't by this pack again.

Military veteran rapid-travel approved!Oct 01, 2012
By The Sniper I will preface this by saying that I have destroyed lesser packs, military issue items, and "mil-spec" products as well. The Rothco Military MOLLE Transport Backpack (Med) is a great example of "form fits and FILLS function" in an item designed for some of the most demanding customers in the world.
PROS: 1. Size allows for this pack to be used as a lap- or under-seat carryon for even the smallest airlines and airplanes in the civilian industry. I have taken this baby on eight flights so far, 4 each of which were on De Havilland Dash 8-300s (sm/med twin turboprop), and it is PERFECT for underseat storage. 2. It is small but EVERY sq. inch is usable, and there are no unnecessary pockets, slips, zippers, or accouterments. 3. The straps are comfortable unless you're carrying gold bricks, in which case the straps aren't your problem.
CONS: None so far... Will edit if any are found!
Closing; I spent 4 1/2 years in the Air Force, first as SOF Combat Weather, and then as Intelligence. I loved the gear that loved me back, and this item has been added to the list!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A little small but you sure can but a lot in itApr 12, 2011
By Archie Wells When I got this bag it was a bit smaller than I thought it would be. Still you can fit a lot in it. I'm six feet tall and this bag fits me nicely. Any taller and the chest and waist traps might fit you uncomfortably. Padding on the straps are okay. All in all a decent pack but if you looking for something that will carry enough stuff for an extended period of time then I would look for a 3 day assault pack which is only a few bucks more.

Look elsewhere...Jul 25, 2011
By SE7EN Well, I probably should have kown better. The price is too good to be true but I went for it and purchased this pack. If you are a person who does not routinely use a backpack, this may suit you. If you are like me and use pack for everyday work, save up and get the real deal. I have owned this product for 2 months and it is falling apart at the seams, litterally. Its as if the pack is coming unraveled. There are pieces of threads hanging from it everywhere. The zippers are beginning to fail and the shoulder strap padding is nearly non-existent. I give it about 2 more months and it will be useless. Do NOT get this pack for serious use such as camping, work etc. I'm pretty certain a childs book bag wold hold up better. I gave it 2 stars because it looks cool which is about the only redeeming quality.

Not bad, could have been betterJul 15, 2011
By Holland When I got it here at my deployed base I was very excited since I have been carrying a ABU Bugoutgear backpack this deployment and my last. So I wanted something smaller. I liked it till I started putting my stuff in it, The front zipper area has a little pocket divider in it, I put some glowstickes in there and the seam ripped. I did not even tug on it hard at all. Just ripped. I was going to try and fix it myself but it would have bene more trouble than it was worth, So I just cut out the entire pocket area for it. You get what you pay for I guess. Still might get another one though when I get back stateside.
