New poncho liner, but was expecting one side Woodland, and the other side Coyote Brown. NOTE: Both sides are Woodland.Jan 11, 2012
By Peter This product is awesome, and one of my favorite pieces of gear while I was deployed(pretty sure it saved my life in Afghanistan on over-night OP's in the winter). Light weight, stuffable, and perfect for trapping body heat over your layers when your cold. So comfortable, I used it as my blanket in the barracks instead of the green, wool blankets for our rack. Anyhow, it was exactly what I was wanting, with the exception that my first poncho liner was one side Woodland, other side Coyote Brown, but this one is woodland on both sides. Not a big deal for me, but worth noting. Worth every penny and I highly recommend it!
I have used these...Mar 25, 2013
By War Hatchet I have 6 of these. I have used them over seas for a few years and out in the woods. If it gets wet it will still keep you warm. Add a poncho with this poncho liner and you can sleep good on nights when it gets in the 50's maybe lower.
MUST HAVE ITEM!Feb 05, 2013
By John E. Orlicki Must have item for campers and hikers. A poncho liner with a poncho will have you ready for any emergency situation you fine yourself in. Very lightweight and warm. Use this poncho liner with a bivy cover and you won't have to carry a heavy sleeping bag. A must have in a 72 hour bag/emergency kit.
Great piece of gearMar 10, 2012
By Steve This was the best piece of gear I had when I was in the military and I had to own one as a civilian for camping, etc. This is military grade and can be used for an assortment of purposes. It is very warm and can augment or serve as a sleeping bag. It also compresses very well in a pack.
Nothing else like it for backpackingFeb 24, 2012
By Michael Chance Used a previous generation poncho liner for a long time in Vietnam. Held up well. Very light weight. Very sturdy. These new liners are much warmer than than they look and feel. Terrific for backpacking, keeping warm around the campfire on a chilly morning or evening, or while stargazing. Impressive all-around quality.
