I thought this product would be perfect for new shoe shiners and I was right! I got it for a gift to my boyfriend (whom had never shined his shoes) and once I taught him how hes really gotten the hang of it... well at least the basics, because this is what this kit brought, the basics. My father has always been a shoe shiner-aholic, he has always trusted the KIWI brand which was why I knew this product would be good, it will never let you down! The package it came in was simple and effective (like most men like their stuff :P). Overall, I think this product was a great choice. Don't doubt the picture, what you see is what you get in this case. They did an awesome job in portraying the product.

Good little kit for any guy who needs to keep his shoes looking spiffy. Only downside is the case it comes in. The case is a bit flimsy, but its serves its purpose keeping everything together so its not a big deal.

The only useful item in this kit is the polish. The plastic bag holding the items can be thrown away immediately upon inspection and the brushes are coarse and low quality. You are better off spending a little more and getting some decent brushes.

I bought this product as my very first shoe shine kit. I have to say it is great. I had a pair of beat up black shoes and made them sparkle like new. The only negative thing I can say is that the shining cloth is not made to take much abuse. That being said, the color and applicators truly work miracles.

This kit is great, but it did not ship with the applicator brush as expected. As with any shoe shining kit, it's only as good as the shiner, but this kit provides you with the tools to do a great job on low-quarters as long as you have cotton balls or an old t-shirt to put the polish on.
