Best Polish for Shiny "Inspection Ready" ShoesJan 10, 2011
By cc86 I have been using this polish for a decade now, and I do not have many problems with it. It creates a mirror finish in two or three well applied coats, one coat will give you a good black polish. The problem with this product is the liklihood of flaking... a problem not really experienced with traditional black. I always put two coats of normal black on the shoes as a good initial base, to counteract the effects of the high silicone content (which i assume causes the flaking). I will continue to use this polish to have smartly polished shoes; it would be difficult to find a polish with a reputation of consistent superiority.

Best shine you can get!Feb 21, 2008

This stuff is great! However I recomend that you don't follow the directions on the back of the can, because it will ruin your shine and crack when you wear it. If you want the best possible shine, then do a spit shine for the "mirror like" high gloss. It does take a long time do appy it to a pair of shoes(1 hour each shoe). But if you want the ultimate long lasting shine you have to work for it with a spit shine. Do a spit shine while your watching tv or something else where you don't need your hands. If you don't know how to spit shine look go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bWk_icJBdA and I recomend using kiwi shine cloths instead of a cotton shirt because the shine cloths are made of a different material that won't scratch your shine.
Can't Get Any Better Then This.May 11, 2012
By Larry Bertolino I've been using parade gloss from kiwi, the entire 5 years I was in the Navy, the years before the navy, and on my black steel toes as of this writing. This polish buffs very well and leaves a mirror like shine with repeated and proper use.
I did buy this exact product On June 17 2011, and Im here now to buy another can. This specific can, for some reason has a diff. color scheme then the standard yellow parade gloss can.. and I can vouche for a reviewer that this stuff dries up fast. It does. I thought I was a bit crazy but..
Regardless. I keep my can on top of a shop light that is usually on during the day, at a whopping 25 watts, which gens. enough heat to keep the polish moist and fluid and ready to use when I need it... like right now.
Seriously. Parade Gloss is the only way to go.
WOW!Oct 09, 2011
By OHGREATONE2 GREAT PRODUCT FOR IT WILL MAKE YOUR SHOES LOOK BETTER THEN NEW, FOR THE SHINE IS INCREDIBLE. DOES NOT TAKE MUCH EFFORT TO GET A GLOSSY SHINE.
Dried up like a brickSep 20, 2011
By LG In very short order the entire block in the can got so dried out & hard that the only way to use it is to take one of the chunks that it has broken up into & use it on the shoe like it was a crayon. Meltonian cream puts it to shame. I will never use Kiwi again.
