1I'm not sure for which Government it is issueJul 17, 2010
By Krykie
I am former Marine, and I really wanted another poncho liner. "Cash sales," where one can usually buy such things on base, never had poncho liners. The poncho liners in the Army/Navy surplus stores were knock offs. I saw this one here on amazon, and bought it.

Well, it isn't US Government issue. Not sure which government it is issued to, but the familiar green label with the nomenclature looked close to the real thing at a glance, but it ain't the real thing on a second look.

But is the poncho liner good enough? Perhaps. It seems a bit bulkier/fluffier than a regular poncho liner, but probably wouldn't be noticible to those who haven't used a poncho liner as much as I have.

Would I buy this again? No. If you want a knock off and not the real thing, there are cheaper imitations out there. I'll still be looking for the real deal...

Took a bit of a search, but I finally located an American made US military poncho liner. Couldn't be happier.

I love this and I have one for myself also. This is for my grandson and he will use it a lot as I do. Good quality, sturdy, masculine.

5birthday presentMar 09, 2009
By Sandra L. Fellows
My husband was very pleased when he got his new poncho liner. He brought one back from Vietnam and we have used it all these years, for everything from a tent to a blanket. It is made very well and seems a little heavier than our old one although it probably was heavier when new also. Or it could be just one with more fill. At any rate it is a real hit and I would buy from this seller again.
