 This item is not compatiable with a pin and safety catch.Jun 28, 2010

The seller is wonderful and the item is as described. I have an issue with the holder itself. If your badge has the pin and safety catch attachment the badge will not completly secure. the pin will go through, but there is no room to secure the pin in safety catch once through the holder. so your badge goes unnattached loose.

nice badge holder looks like the real thing. need to modify it if you want to put the badge on though. That was a real pain!!

Just as described. It has a good thickness and it's not flimsy. It is leather and has the smell of leather but it seems to be a thinly wrapped with leather. With that aside, I had to use some smaller tools to get a badge clipped into it but that isn't the product's fault.
The clip seems very good and has the similar style of my Bulldog IWB holster-- it doens't come off easily. The chain is your standard bead chain.
Very great find for the price, for practical use or to attach a toy to.

This isn't a very cheap imitation. Someone put their time into designing this and I have seen them much much worse. I've used mine every day and have not had any problems at all with it.
