Exactly what I expected, though not entirely as describedFeb 22, 2012

I knew before I bought this that it would need some modification before it would be entirely ready for wear. The beret needs to be re-shaved, otherwise it will shed as you try and mold it to your head. It comes molded to the general shape but takes some refining to get it to look good, there are several resources available online to give you an idea of what to do. Otherwise seems well made.

I purchased this beret for a cosplay costume (Left 4 Dead Bill character) for a convention and it shipped fast and is decent, quality-wise. Completed the look of the character nicely and I sewed a patch on it and ironed it- no problems whatsoever with it!

My son wanted this beret as part of his halloween costume. The beret was just as described and arrived as stated.

This beret was nicely constructed. But, I feel the weight of the wool is too thin, light. Several other berets I purchased elsewhere have a much heavier felt.
