The straps loosen all the timeSep 14, 2010
By ohjocyyy I bought this bag for school and I really like it. I bought the olive drab and it looks exactly like the picture. Only thing that bothers me a lot about this backpack are the straps. They loosen ALL the time. I had to tie them in order for them to stay. But overall it was a good buy. Comfortable, big, and shipped within 1 week.

Looks Cute When NOT in Use, Flimsy OtherwiseSep 01, 2011
By Mary Rosaso So the backpack is a lot larger than I thought, but that is my fault as I completely ignored the dimensions given. So anyone won't make this mistake, here they are: 18'' X 13.5'' X 7''
I bought this bag in Olive Drag. Very military vintage. It's a forest-y green. I love the color.
I bought this for college but it's simply too big (for those lugging around 15.6+ laptops though, you might want to look into these dimensions). I didn't return it simply because I travel for short times a lot and this is great packing a couple of days worth of clothes (retreat! ^^).
Now on to the ugly.
The Straps. It's not only annoying (they loosen ALL THE TIME as other reviewers have stated) but they are also uncomfortable and placed really awkwardly making the bag sag (which is my next point).
The bag sags in a not so pretty way. I'll take pictures later. If you want the look factor, don't bother, because once this thing is filled, it looks horrible! When it isn't stuffed, it's rather cute (as I've been told). It sticks out awkwardly as well. (I carry a few notebooks and my hoodie (folded) and a small laptop (at times) in the large pocket, my bible in the medium pocket, my 3DS in the pocket above the medium one, and writing utensils in the smallest pocket on a DAILY basis) I have varied the contents of this bag from time to time, and the problem remains the same no matter the weight.
I'm always afraid this bag will break at any second. I just simply would not recommend it and the only thing keeping me for rating it one star is the fact that I did indeed find a good use for it.

my daughter wanted this bag for college. it is frustrating because it wont stand upright on its own, with or without contents inside. even more so, it has a lot of long fringes from the inside seams and will get in the way of zipping it shut. she chose it for fashion, but for function it is a poor choice.
Worst product I ever bought on amazon!Apr 13, 2013
By jim beal Bought this pack for a vacation. It start to fall apart before I made it to the airport. By the time I arrive at my destination the shoulder straps were falling of, zippers were broken and I had to buy a new pack. Avoid at all costs!!!

Despite the other reviews I decided to buy they backpack, but it is true the shoulder straps slip all the time. I finally had to tie knots so they won't slip anymore.
