5great bagAug 13, 2011
By Nobody Special
5 stars. Looks great, and very well made. Easily holds a 17" notebook, with lots of extra space besides. It hold just as much as a standard briefcase, plus a laptop. Love the manly look too.

UPDATE: Almost 6 months later and I'd still give it 5 stars. Just remember that this is NOT a military bag. It is an attache case/computer bag made to LOOK military. Even so, I have mine loaded up to about 25 lbs and it works and carries just fine.

5Great BagMar 05, 2013

This bag is tough spacious and well worth it's price. The material is very tough and the main compartment is big enough for my 17"laptop inside the included protective sleeve. Convenient for school and looks great.

2Nice concept, bad stitching.Aug 25, 2011

I like the bag for a laptop with more pockets. I like the external pouches (used for external hard drives)

Drawback about the external pouches is the stiching for the MOLLE system is weak. The straps separated the weave of the band and separated from the main bag on the right side. Fortunately, the MOLLE system worked and the other fasten point to the bag is not at the end.

It may be the manufacturer. I chose the Fox manufacturer over Rothco to save $10. I'm going to try the Rothco version next.

The bag is constructed well. The hard plastic handle is easy on the hands and the shoulder strap grips the shoulder and does not slip down, even on my sloped, narrow shoulders. The computer bad is a separate incert that snugly fits the larger laptops. Storage space is ample, the MOLLE system is great if I need more space!

1Not ready for the field equipment.....:-(Sep 25, 2012
By Miranthis
I bought my boys, ages 9 and 13, what I hoped was a sturdy bag for school books this year. years past left us disappointed in teh choices available in teh school supply section and I had had good luck with my own field packs and such from the usual suspects. Sure, the 5.11's and the Tactical Tailors of the world make a rock solid piece, but I had had good luck with the next tier of manufactures such as Fox and the like.

So instead of the std. back pack the boys decided they liked the tactical briefcase idea, and chose colors. My 9 year old has had this for about 1 month of school and it is already falling apart. THe material ripped along a seam and it is a total waste. I am VERY dissappointed as the quality is horrid. He is not carryign anythign more than a few books, his lunch, and a 3 ring binder. I will go at it with the sewing machine to see if I can shore it up, else we will just have to scrap it and start over. Don't waste your money.
