Exactly what I was looking for.Nov 11, 2012
A big, tough, pretty much shapeless canvas bag that I can just stuff a lot of things in. This is exactly what I wanted. The two end pockets close with snaps and are big enough to hold a full-size water bottle. The side pockets under the flap and the main compartment are open so I can just reach in and grab whatever I need. The flap fastens with velcro strips. I keep my tablet in a padded sleeve in the main compartment, it's big enough to hold a full-size laptop in a sleeve, along with books or notebooks and even a light jacket. Water bottle and cell phone in opposite end pockets, earbuds, pens, and other little stuff in the side pockets, I'm ready to go for the day!
Nice bagOct 02, 2012
I like the bag; this is the third one I've bought. But . . . the snaps have fallen off one of the end pockets on both of the previous two bags after just a short period of time, so be forewarned. The color also fades pretty quickly. If the snap on the latest one has the same problem, I'll find something else next time.
Great Multi-Purpose BagJul 21, 2012
By Lance A. Norris
This is a great bag. Since no one has written about some of its features, I will. First, its very heavy duty canvas, and has two large pockets outside the main cargo area, that are covered by the front flap. They are simply open on top, but the front flap covers the top of them when its closed. Inside the main compartment, on the back side wall, at the top, is a small zippered pocket, maybe 3x6". The end pockets have a snap closure inside to secure the contents, but still remain open on top. Someone wrote the strap is 40" long. Its actually 54" long when measured. I was concerned that 40" wouldnt be long enough, but the actual 54" length is perfect. Im a tall man, and the bag hangs perfectly at or slightly below the hip level. The two loops seen one the front, when the bag is closed, are open in the middle, giving you a place to hang sunglasses or keys. With any care, this bag will last many years. Im going to order another one, just because they are so good.
