The strap on this makes it look unstylish as a cross-over purse... which was disappointing. The image does not represent this. So I gave it to my boyfriend.

I just received this bag and it will be awesome for what I bought it for!
I have an iPad with a smart cover and a coordinating back cover on it. When I travel, I slip the whole thing in a zippered hard-shell cover for a little more protection. What I lacked was a safe way to carry this. My iPad (with the hard-shell zip cover fits perfectly in this bag. I have room for my kindle (in a cover), my iPhone, and Ipod if I wanted to take it plus a few other smaller items.
I am a female and it is not "girly" but then again, I was looking for function and not "girly."
Now I just need a trip!

Would recommend for anyone who travels with an IPad or laptop. It is light weight and easily carried. It has room for a book, phone or stationary too.

I have to agree with "ccn" and also add that this is exactly what I was looking for. Having the strap attached to the top and back of the bag allows it to hug the body. The dimensions of the bag allow me to carry a book, or two, or letter-sized documents. Remember that the bag is not a knapsack. The overall construction of the bag is of what appears to be good quality canvas. However, I'm a little leery of the stitching used to attach the edging. Time will tell if it holds up well. The two snaps on the cover are of good quality and do not look like they are going to ever rip loose. There are two wing flaps on the side which fold in when you close the cover. This is a nice touch and looks like it will do a good job of keeping out the rain.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bag to anyone. For the price I don't think it could be beat.
