Great deal.Mar 01, 2012
By Brian D. It's cord (thin rope) and it's very strong. I used a piece of it to replace my lawn mower's pull-rope that had broken and this seems far more durable than the original. Then I hung a hammock using it.. It easily held my weight in a hammock. The hardest part was tying it very tightly. It is a bit slippery in surface texture, though nothing like a traditional nylon rope. More like most round show laces. And it stretches slightly as you cinch it. Not much though.

By Paul McBride Amazing value for the money. This will last for years and has never let me down yet. I highly recommend.
Works for pulling shrubs right out of the ground.Jul 09, 2012

Just today I tied this around the base of a shrub, tied the other end to the trailer hitch of my wife's Blazer, and effortlessly pulled it out of the ground. Then I cut the rope and re-tied it to another length tied to the base of a larger shrub. Even with the extra knots, this rope is super-strong.
I don't have any idea how many pounds of pull it was, but I'm certainly impressed for the bootlace-thin rope.

By JL151 I am no military pro but I could actually see the a few smaller cords inside the outer sheath. I haven't had this type of cord before, but it really seems like the way to go for strength and to have the option of using the separate cords for other things if needed for survival or other everyday purposes.
